Lorri has enjoyed a multi-faceted legal
career, having had more than 20 years
of wide-ranging experience in the areas
of real estate law, banking law, estate
planning and business law.

Lorri graduated from Kalamazoo College, received her
law degree from the University of Detroit School of Law,
and is licensed to practice in both Michigan and Arizona.
After graduating, Lorri began her formal practice at a
real estate law firm in Arizona, specializing in the area
of large commercial development. She then returned to
southern Michigan to join a Detroit real estate law firm,
Plunket & Cooney, where she continued to gain experience
working with a variety of commercial real estate and
banking cases.

 

As Partner and Co-Founder of the Law Offices of King
& King, PLLC, and Cadillac Title, Lorri’s clients benefit
from her consistent legal counsel and attention to
detail. Her dedication and integrity have earned her
the reputation of being a successful advocate and
counselor for her clients.

 

Lorri is a committed member of her community. She is
active in the Cadillac Area Chamber of Commerce Board,
the Mercy Hospital Board and is a past instructor of
Business Law at Baker College of Cadillac.

Stephen has more than 20 years of
comprehensive experience in a variety
of legal arenas such as negotiation,
civil and criminal litigation, business
law, family law and conflict resolution.

 

                                Stephen grew up in the Detroit, Michigan area
                                and earned a BS in Business Administration with a
                                specialization in Finance from Marquette University.
                                He received his law degree from the University of
                                Detroit School of Law, and while there, he won the
                                William Ghallagher Moot Court competition.

 

                                Stephen is trained in Civil Mediation and
                                Alternative dispute resolution and uses his well-
                                honed communication skills and compassion for
                                humanity to seek justice for all within our court
                                system. His unique skills in the areas of facilitating
                                communication and problem-solving contribute
                                to Stephen’s ability to deliver successful results

Being active in community affairs is a way of life for Stephen.
He has served on the board and is a past President of the
Wexford County Habitat For Humanity, has served on the
Rotary Club of Cadillac Board, is a past Chairman and board
member of the Cadillac Downtown Fund, is active in the
Cadillac Area Chamber of Commerce, and is an avid and
dedicated supporter of many community and volunteer
organizations.

 

It goes without saying that Stephen is committed to giving his
best to his clients. This involves educating clients during his
representation so that they are given the opportunity to make
wise decisions and ones not clouded by emotion. He believes
that it is much more important to teach a person how to think
rather than what to think.

JEFF MANKIEWICZ

 

 

 

 

 

 

Jeff Mankiewicz graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 2005 and was admitted to the Michigan State Bar the same year.  Prior to attending law school, Jeff graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a major in political science and a minor in marketing.

Before joining the Law Offices of King & King PLLC Jeff worked for four years at a civil litigation firm in Farmington Hills, Michigan, specializing in personal injury and insurance defense. While at that position Jeff had the opportunity to litigate cases in State and Federal Courts throughout the State of Michigan.  Jeff is also admitted to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan and the United States District Court for the Western District of Michigan.

In his free time, Jeff enjoys spending time with his wife Abbi (nee Hines) and son, Parker. Abbi grew up in Cadillac and her family are life long residents of Cadillac. Jeff and Abbi are happy to be back and part of the community. Jeff also enjoys playing golf, watching sports and participating in outdoor activities with friends.
